Accubeschermer: stroom uitschakelen bij lage spanning

De NDS Battery Saver (accubeschermer) bewaakt de spanning van de serviceaccu continue. Dit slimme kastje plaatst u tussen de serviceaccu en het 12V-systeem van uw camper of caravan te plaatsen. Als de accuspanning voor een bepaalde periode te laag is (onder de kritieke drempelwaarde van 11 V), schakelt de Battery Saver de stroom uit. Elke keer als een accu onder deze 11 V komt, gaat de levensduur drastisch achteruit.

Diepontlading voorkomen

De techniek in de NDS accubeschermer voorkomt diepontlading, iets wat erg slecht is voor de conditie van 12V serviceaccu's. Dit zorgt er namelijk voor dat de capaciteit van de accu drastisch afneemt en kan onherstelbare schade aanrichten.

Automatisch of handmatig aankoppelen

Zodra u de motor start of een lader aanzet, koppelt de Battery Saver het systeem automatisch weer aan. Daarnaast kunt u de accu handmatig aan- of afkoppelen door middel van een knop.
